Petition to pardon Roman Polanski


This petition will be sent to Barrack Obama, President of the United States of America, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California.

We would like to seek a pardon for Roman Polanski.

We do not call into question Roman Polanski’s guilt but on behalf of all the undersigned and those who support us all around the world we ask you to pardon the director. We do believe that the genius of Roman Polanski – the artist will redeem the sin of Roman Polanski – the man, allowing him to enrich the world’s cultural heritage with yet another movie. If no pardon is given, this chance will be lost forever, to the detriment of all people of the present and of the future. We do believe that generosity shown to the artist will mend the harm done by the man.
